Psychological Effects

Psychological factors affecting young people’s vision

Sometimes young people experience a loss of vision for which doctors cannot find a reason. This is particularly common when there are difficulties at school or at home. Although vision eventually returns to normal, the visual loss can sometimes last weeks or months, and parents/carers are often anxious about their child’s vision.
